Our Family Journey
In 2021, the Stam Family made a giant leap of faith and pursued our dream of starting a small homestead farm in Northeastern Arizona. With only six chickens to our name, we decided to go all in. We began raising Mangalitsa pigs, processing meat chickens, and eventually milking Jersey cows. As the number of animals grew, so did our desire to learn more. With gallons of raw milk at our fingertips, we learned the skills of our ancestors: butter churning, yogurt and ice cream production as well as bread-making. We began partaking in farmer's markets as well as direct to consumer selling of our products, and loved every minute of it.
In 2024, Ryan's career necessitated our family moving to the East Coast. While sad to leave our friends and family, the Stam Family was excited for their new adventure. We packed up the farm and drove cross-country with our Jersey cow, Prim, a hive of bees, and two dogs. Now, settling our roots in the beautiful Cherry Valley nestled within Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, we are ready for the next chapter of our farm story.
